Unfortunately I couldn't find any local bookstores that had it so I haven't bought it... yet. I did just return it to the College Hill Library though, so you can probably get it from them.

Thanks for the links to songbird's agile stuff. We're about to change to agile on all of our projects here and it's nice to see how other companies did it. :)

Yep, you are right PK, there is a lot of room for modularity, and a new question type is part of what we need, unfortunately a large part of what we are doing has to be done on a quiz wide basis, and other than quiz reports (which can't be shown to students easily) the quiz module doesn't really provide any modular piece that we can work with.

Hi
You are planning to create such a changes you need to touch core of quiz module? You should just add a new question type, there is a lot of place for modularity approach..
Or maybe, when you will create new quiz engine and it will be great, your engine will replace old one, there were many changes that become "core" with a time...
Good luck with your effort

Yeah, I see your point, I suppose there's really several kinds of low hanging fruit, the kind that has to get done anyway. And, the kind that is not necessarily imperative but very nice to have, kind of like the things that are really nice to have but aren't missed to badly if they aren't there.

See, it's my opinion that the low-hanging fruits are what makes the difference between a just 'completed' project and a 'well-done' project.

Another book that fits this sort of category is "Mythical Man Month", highly recommended!

Also: hehehe, CVS comments, nothing like the ol' commit message "checked code in"
